Advance to slide 14: Explain that now we will split into grade level groups (PK-2, 3-5, 6-8) and see if we can come up with a project that the grade level group can do together.  Emphasize that with a group project, responsibilities will be shared, so the load is lighter for each teacher involved.

Module 6: 30 min.
17. Advance to slide 15: Discuss where we go with the program from here.  Do we want to use a thematic  approach to our projects ? (Hunger, Elder Care, Medical Needs, Building in Communities), do we want to think about long-term projects in the future?  Perhaps 3 year scope/cyclical type projects?  Get input from staff for direction of program from here.
18. Distribute Handout 3 (calendar for scheduling projects, and additional templates for planning projects):  This will be revisited in August meetings so we can plan and schedule projects after thinking about what we would like to do over the summer.  Each teacher should think about one individual project, and collaborate with grade level team to create a group project.
